TREKKING CEIBA BARRIGONA AND RAFTING IN THE CANYON

Description: The walk begins in Umpala in the forgotten town of the canyon, it is in the young mountains of
the Chicamocha canyon, it is located in the eastern mountain range and allows us to appreciate the
beautiful bare mountains that have a contrast of color, green from the oasis and white sand, with an
average temperature of 23 to 40 degrees centigrade. Along the way we will find endemic vegetation such
as pot-bellied ceibas, known in history as the guardians of the canyon and they only exist in these beautiful
mountains, and are in danger of extinction; the trek is 7 kilometers downhill and takes an average of 2
hours. Then we will hydrate ourselves and begin our adventure on the Chicamocha River, the rafting is two
hours of navigation with an average distance of 12 kilometers, with a random route for a safety route, the
navigation ends in Jordan. 

Programming: Full Day 

Hours: 7:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.

 Conditions: Not being pregnant, not having any recent injuries, not being intoxicated or hallucinogenic
substances. With a minimum of 4 people to carry out the tour.

 Recommendations: Before starting the activity, the person should have had breakfast Appropriate
clothing: shorts, shorts, short or long lycra, t-shirt, tennis shoes or adjustable sandals, Repellent,
Sunscreen, change of clothes, hydration, snack, do not carry valuables and women with collected hair.
