An amazing day on the river, surrounded by nature and with the excitement of the white water. The excursion in the Fonce River is an amazing opportunity for first-timers, nature lovers and families. It does not require experience and can make people from 5 years old. It is not necessary to know how to swim. The trip down the river is 10 km where you can visualize a large part of the fauna and flora of the area. The starting point of the activity is 10 km from San Gil via Charala place known as the sandbox and ends in San Gil in the place known as the boardwalk. The activity has two schedules at 8:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.
Duration: One and a half-hour in the water, (depending on the level of the river). All logistics included takes 4 hours and a half. Level: Class 2 and 3 rapids Includes: - Transportation to/from your San Gil Hotel.

World-class river considered one of the best in South America for its rapids. The river is located at approximately 1 hour from San Gil. It has a wonderful landscape of the Suarez Canyon and is will provide bunches of adrenaline for those who dare to explore its waters.
Duration: 1.5 hours to 3 hours depending on the water level. 5 hours in total of the activity. Level: Seven rapids class IV and two rapids class V. Water temperature: 25 to 35 Celcius, depending on the season. Requirement: Good physical condition, know how to swim and not having any recent injury. Minimum age 18 years old and a maximum weight of 110 kg (depending on physical condition and water level).

The tour starting picking you up in San Gil at 10 AM, driving for over 1 hour and a half depending on trafic on the way, as soon as we get at the put in (Pescadero Bridge), we provide a personal gear (life jacket, helmet and paddle) followed by a safety talk and a quick practice in the river. The descent in the river is 14 km getting to Jordán,once there we will have some fruit and hydration and food, afterward we´ll drive back to San Gil for another hour and a half. Duration: 2 hours in the river and 6 hours in total of the activity. Requirement: Good physical condition, know how to swim and not having any recent injury. Recommended ages: 18 - 60.
